U.S. Churchgoers Say They’ll Return Post-COVID
This February 2021 survey conducted by LifeWay Research surveyed 1,000 American Protestant churchgoers. The study found that churchgoers were not back to attending at pre-pandemic levels but were anxious to regather with their congregations when COVID-19 is no longer an active threat. Findings showed that the vast majority (91%) planned to attend in-person worship services at least as often as they did pre-pandemic and nearly a quarter (23%) said they planned to more frequently than before. The survey also addressed church involvement, spiritual status, and personal impact.
