Religious/spiritual struggles and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic: Does “talking religion” help or hurt?

This study show that spiritual struggles were common among Americans during COVID-19 and were associated with greater psychological distress and worse perceived self-rated health during the pandemic.Unlike for psychological distress, however, researchers from this study found no evidence that discussion of religious matters in the face of greater religious struggles exacerbated their ill effect on health.
