Religious Identities and the Race Against the Virus (Wave 1)
This March 2021 survey was the first wave of the Religion and Vaccine Survey conducted jointly by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC). It documents faith-based approaches to vaccination and how religious identities factored into vaccine sentiments and vaccination rates in the early months of the COVID-19 vaccine release. In particular, it aimed to provide data to further an understanding of how faith-based interventions might mitigate vaccine hesitancy and resistance.
