This first Exponential survey released on March 27 queried pastors and church leaders from March 18-26 and received 1,573 responses. The survey is the first to examine congregational responses to COVID-19 and began receiving responses two days after President Trump issued national guidelines limiting gatherings to 10 persons or less. Pastors expressed a desire for practical resources to create engaging online conversations (59%), to lead online small groups (44%), for practice ways to be on mission in this season (53%), for surviving the financial crunch (55%), and for maximizing online giving (49%).
