COVID-19 Bringing Christmas Changes to Many Americans

This September 2020 survey conducted by LifeWay Research gathered responses from 1,200 Americans, including an oversample of Americans with evangelical beliefs. At that time, the majority of respondents indicated that COVID-19 would cause some change to their holiday habits. A quarter of respondents indicated that they would be less likely to attend a Christmas church service due to COVID-19, while 11% said they would be more likely to attend. The survey also addressed the impact of the pandemic on spiritual reflections during the holiday season and impacts on holiday plans as a whole.
