Belonging and Social Isolation
Researchers at Springtide Research Institute found that, during Covid, those 13-25 years old have suffered from loneliness and isolation more than other age groups. The study, titled “Belonging: Reconnecting America’s Loneliest Generation” found that 39% of young people said they have “nobody to talk to.” A solution could be creating a sense of belonging through a three-step process: noticed, named, known.
